The OEM rubber bushings on the 1997-2013 Corvette manual shifter boxes often need replacement after only a few thousand miles. The symptom is excessive or sloppy shift lever movement and difficulty in up shift/down shift, excessive vibration or “rattling” of the shift knob.
Our bushings are a tighter fit so they do a much better job of managing the vibration harmonics in the shifter assembly which results in the shifter rattle.
